How do I book a session?
You can email, call or text me directly or use the contact form on the ‘make an appointment’ page. I’ll get back to you usually within 48 hours.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes — I offer a free 30 minute online or telephone consultation which may help you decide whether I am the right counsellor for you.
What is person-centred counselling?
It’s a collaborative, non-directive talking therapy that places you at the heart of the process. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely, without judgement in order for you to move toward the goals that matter to you.
Are sessions confidential?
Absolutely. Everything you share remains confidential, except in specific safeguarding circumstances, which will be discussed in our first session.
How long are the sessions?
Each session is 50 minutes long.
What happens during the 1st session?
I understand that the first session may generate a lot of nerves. There is no expectation to prepare or share everything all at once. I will invite you to share what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process at a pace guided by you. I will also answer any questions you may have and we will agree how we might work together in a way that feels safe, respectful and aligned with your needs.
